Hi! I’m Matt Jones and I’m the creator of videogamesaddictions.com. My background is in blogging, affiliate marketing and gaming (duh!). I author a couple of other sites, for example Affiliate Programs and Successful Online Money Making !. I am also a contributor to a number of sites across the web, including the Best Deals Online.
The purpose of videogamesadditions.com is to pay you for sharing your classic in-game screenshots. I know the feeling more than anyone where you have taken a quality screenshot, that is either really funny or just plain awesome and you want to show it to everyone.
Well now you can! And you will get paid for it! There will be a weekly contest, the first winners will be announced May1st 2007.
All entries will be displayed on the homepage. They will be judged by me and my colleague Michael Woo. In the near future a system will be put in place where you are the judges and you will vote! The prizes will also increase as the contest becomes more competitive. For now the prizes are cash, which we will send to you Via Paypal.

1st Place: $10
2nd Place: $5
Remember there are no other entries yet so you have a very good chance of winning!
You may submit screenshots for the following games:
Counter Strike: Source (PC)
Halo1 (PC/MAC)
Halo 2 (PC)
The prizes are for each game. So you can win up to $45 by taking all the prizes!
Rules
- Your screenshot must be saved as a .JPG
- It must not be a thumbnail or a low quality image, because it will become pixelated when displayed on this site.
- If any photoshopping or alteration of the screenshot is noticed you will be disqualified from the contest. In the future there will be a contest category that allows you to Photoshop so save the cheating till then!
- You may enter up to 5 screenshots per game!
- You may have a caption of up to 50 words beneath each screenshot.
Entries must not:
- Contain any nudity, or anything we may deem inappropriate.
- Be altered after they are taken.
Entries should be:
- Funny
- funky
- Spectacular
- unusual
